With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia, an official delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Isidor of Ekaterinodar and Kuban, will participate in celebrations of the reestablishment of canonical unity of the Russian Orthodox Church.

30th August – evening service in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield.
31st August – farewell molieben at the Archbishop’s Chapel, Croydon at 10am, after which the Holy Icon returns to the USA

Our patronal feast at Gosford – that of the Holy Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon – falls this year on Thursday August 9th. We will serve Matins on the preceding evening at 7.00pm, with Divine Liturgy on the feast-day itself at 9.00am.

Arrival of the Holy Kursk-Root Icon in Wellington:
Our hearts filled with joy as the 13th century Icon of Our Lady of Kursk arrived here in Christchurch on Tuesday 17th July. Rev. Father Vladimir Boikov was the bearer of this long awaited Holy Image. People came from near and far to venerate our Blessed Holy Mother of God. Our hearts rejoiced and our souls filled with Her Grace as the Akathist was sung in our small church packed with worshippers. The following two days some twenty families welcomed the Icon into their homes.Continue Reading
