St Patrick Orthodox Mission had an added blessing at the Divine Liturgy on Sunday 2 October (n.s.)/ 19 September (o.s), when the St Petersburg Quartet joined our choir in singing for the service.

In accordance with parish custom, the main services in honour of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, were transferred to the Saturday immediately following his commemoration. On the evening of Friday 12 August All-night Vigil was served. In addition to the rector, Father James Carles, four visiting clergymen were present: Archpriest George Lapardin, Priest Alexander Korjenewski (Carlton), Priest Simon Nekipelov (Strathfield), and Protodeacon Alexander Kotlaroff (Strathfield). Afterwards, the clergy and some of the faithful stayed behind for a festive supper.Continue Reading

A choral concert part of the 2011 concert series presented by the Sacred Music Centre of St Mary Star of the Sea.

The program will be shared by two outstanding Melbourne-based choirs specialising in the performance and promotion of music of the Eastern Christian churches.
