В программе молодого мужского хора в составе более 20 человек под управлением Нектария Котлярова, прозвучали песнопения, исполняемые во время поста. Хор был усилен несколькими опытными хористами австралийской епархии РПЦЗ. Звучали напевы Максима Котогарова, Григория Львовского, Петра Гончарова, Павла Чеснокова.

On Sunday, 2 September 2018, the feast day of Prophet Samuel, His Grace Bishop George of Canberra celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield together with Archpriest George Lapardin, dean of the cathedral, protodeacons Alexander Kotlaroff, Constantine Moshegov, Martin Naef and deacon Michael Storozhev.

Following the Great Entrance, deacon Michael Storozhev was ordained to the rank of Priest. Fr Michael is assigned to the clergy staff of the cathedral. After the service the sisterhood prepared a festive lunch for all who attended.

Утро 2 июля 2018 года было самым холодным в году.  Так же холодно было на душе.  Сегодня члены семьи, родственники, прихожане храма в честь иконы «Всех скорбящих Радость» и других приходов Австралийско-Новозеландской епархии, жители Джилонга собрались вместе при гробе протоиерея Симеона Кичакова, чтобы справиться с горем, исцелить душевные раны, скорбь претворить в величайшую радость духовную.

Тело отца Симеона готовили к погребению протоиерей Николай Далинкевич и протодиакон Василий Козулин.  Они крестообразно обтерли его елеем, смешанным с красным вином. После обтирания тело одели в обычные одежды, ибо усопший должен облечься в нетление (1 Кор 15:53), а затем его облачили во всю священническую белую одежду, что означает, что усопший предстанет перед Богом именно как священник и будет давать отчет в той миссии, какая была на него возложена.  Священническое белое облачение, в которое одели отца Симеона, купила ему его мать, Мария Михайловна Кичакова, почившая 15 ноября 2017 года.  Именно в нем отец Симеон завещал его похоронить.Continue Reading

His Grace was joined by Protopriest Michael Protopopov, Dean of Victoria, and other clergymen.
