: 2025 Pastoral Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese

This year, the pastoral conference of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese took place on 18th and 19th March at the Holy Protection Cathedral in Melbourne. The gathering of clergy was an important event that contributed to strengthening unity among the clergy and discussing current pastoral issues.

On Tuesday, March 18, at 5:00 PM, the clergy gathered at the Cathedral and listened to prayers before Communion, after which the Great Lenten Matins was served. During the service, the clergy had the opportunity to confess.

The next day, March 19, at 8:00 AM, the clergy solemnly welcomed His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney and Australia and New Zealand. On this day, the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was celebrated— a special Lenten service filled with deep spiritual significance.

After the liturgy, lunch was offered to all participants in the church hall. After lunch, the clergy had the opportunity to discuss various issues related to pastoral ministry and share their experiences in serving the Church.

The pastoral meeting concluded at 5:00 PM, leaving participants with blessed impressions and inspiration for further service to the Church and their congregation.
