On the third week of Great Lent, known as the Veneration of the Cross, His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney Australia and New Zealand, officiated the All-Night Vigil at the Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield. Archbishop George was joined by the clergy of the cathedral.
At the end of Matins, His Eminence performed the Rite of bringing out the Cross, symbolizing spiritual support on the journey of Great Lent.
