With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion the first Russian Orthodox Teen Retreat will be held for teens in grades 9 – 12. The retreat will be held this summer, beginning in the late afternoon on Monday December 19 and finishing on the morning of Friday December 23 2011.

In accordance with parish custom, the main services in honour of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, were transferred to the Saturday immediately following his commemoration. On the evening of Friday 12 August All-night Vigil was served. In addition to the rector, Father James Carles, four visiting clergymen were present: Archpriest George Lapardin, Priest Alexander Korjenewski (Carlton), Priest Simon Nekipelov (Strathfield), and Protodeacon Alexander Kotlaroff (Strathfield). Please be advised that Hieromonk Panteleimon (Lake) reposed in the Lord yesterday morning at 8.00am (local time, West Timor, Indonesia). Hieromonk Panteleimon was a cleric of the Indonesian Deanery (Indonesian Orthodox Church) of the Australia and New Zealand Diocese.
He will be buried Monday, June 20 in his home village in Nilulat-Kefamenanu – 230 km East of Kupangand. We ask you to pray for the soul of the newly departed Hieromonk Panteleimon.
