: Archbishop George celebrates the Feast of the Lord’s Entry into Jerusalem at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral

On April 13, the sixth Sunday of Great Lent, the Church solemnly celebrated the Feast of the Lord’s Entry into Jerusalem. The Divine Service at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral was led by His Eminence Archbishop George of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand.

His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the Cathedral. The choir, directed by Andrei Laptev, beautifully performed the liturgical hymns, creating a prayerful and reverent atmosphere.

After the Divine Liturgy, the Cathedral’s dean, Archpriest George Lapardin, on behalf of the clergy and parishioners, warmly congratulated Archbishop George on the 38th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood, as well as Protodeacon Alexander on the 27th anniversary of his ordination to the diaconate.

The choir solemnly chanted “Many Years.”
