On Monday, 6 January 2020 and Tuesday, 7 January 2020, His Grace George, Bishop of Canberra celebrated the great feast of the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, Strathfield, NSW. Co-served with his Grace were the Cathedral clergy, Archpriest George Lapardin, dean of the Cathedral, priest Michael Storozhev and protodeacon Alexander Kotlaroff.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a festal lunch was held in the church hall where the faithful joyously congratulated each other with the feast.

14 октября в Покровском храме в Кабраматте отметили престольный праздник. Литургию отслужил епископ Канберрский Георгий в сослужении с настоятелем храма и священниками сиднейских русских храмов. После литургии сестричество пригласило всех на торжественную трапезу в прицерковном зале. В этот день настоятель Покровского храма Борис Игнатьевский отмечал 25-летие своего служения священником.
Покровский храм в Кабраматте один из самых крупных и красивых в Сиднее. Его строительство в пятидесятые-шестидесятые годы во многом связано с именем священника Ростислава Гана, который был здесь настоятелем с 1953 до своей кончины в 1975 году. В строительстве здания храма большую помощь оказывали прихожане, они очищали старые кирпичи, из которых слагались стены, выполняли различные работы. (more…)

В связи с тяжелой болезнью и последовавшей 25 июля 2018 года кончиной протоиерея Симеона Кичакова, в храме иконы Божией Матери «Всех Скорбящих Радость», что в городе Джилонг (штат Виктория), около двух лет не было регулярных богослужений.
Митрополит Иларион назначил настоятелем протоиерея Ярослава Беликова. Наконец, когда получена рабочая виза, отец Ярослав прибыл в Джилонг 13 сентября и возобновились регулярные богослужения. (more…)

On Sunday, 18th August and Monday, 19th August the great feast of Transfiguration of our Lord, His Grace Bishop George celebrated the Divine Services at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield, NSW. Co-served with Bishop George were the cathedral clergy. Following the Divine Liturgy, according to Orthodox Christian tradition, His Grace performed the blessing of the fruit.
