25 Sep 11: Invitation – first-ever Russian Orthodox Teen Retreat
With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion the first Russian Orthodox Teen Retreat will be held for teens in grades 9 – 12. The retreat will be held this summer, beginning in the late afternoon on Monday December 19 and finishing on the morning of Friday December 23 2011.
The conference will include:
- three 3 days and four nights accommodation
- structured program of group discussions to equip us for the challenges that we face as Russian Orthodox Teens in Australia
- delicious Lenten meals
- an important opportunity for young Orthodox teens to learn, develop friendships, and to meet with clergy from across the Diocese
- ample time for relaxation, social activities and informal discussion
