With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia, an official delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Isidor of Ekaterinodar and Kuban, will participate in celebrations of the reestablishment of canonical unity of the Russian Orthodox Church.

During this trip, divine services are planned to be held in the churches and monasteries of the Russian diaspora. The visitors will have with them an icon dear to the heart of every Orthodox Christian, the Derzhavnaya [Reigning] Icon of the Mother of God. Continue Reading

С 13-го по 28-го августа Святая Икона посетит приходы в Виктории и Тасмании (расписание на английском языке “Holy Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God visits Victoria“). После престольного праздника данденонгского прихода в честь Успение Божией Матери святыня прибудет в последний раз в Сидней.

29-го августа, в 6 часов веч. Свято-Покровском храме в Кабраматта будет отслужен акафист.

30-го августа, в 6 часов веч. Св. Петропавловском соборе в Стратфильде – акафист.

На следующий день, 31-го авг. в Крестовой церкви в Кройдоне, Владыка Иларион отслужит напутственный молебен в 10 часов утра. Затем Протоиерей Михаил Бойков и Протодиакон Герман Полоротов сопроводят Икону в Америку.

29th August – The Holy Icon returns to Sydney. Evening service at 6pm at the Holy Intercession church in Cabramatta.

30th August – evening service in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield.

31st August – farewell molieben at the Archbishop’s Chapel, Croydon at 10am, after which the Holy Icon returns to the USA
