19 Jul 07: Invitation to Priests – St Panteleimon Parish, Gosford

Dear Father,
Our parish feast day of the Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon falls this year on Thursday August 9th.
Our main celebrations – which will include Archbishop Hilarion’s visit with the “Kursk-Root” Icon of the Mother of God and a festive luncheon – will be on Sunday August 12th. Although you will be most welcome on the day, I understand that it will be difficult for you to be with us on a Sunday as you will have a service in your own parish.
I would nevertheless like to invite you to visit and serve in our parish on the day of commemoration of Saint Panteleimon, Thursday August 9th. The Ladies’ Auxiliary will prepare a light luncheon for us to share in after the service.
Those attending should bring with them gold vestments. It would be appreciated if you could let me know of your plans to attend by 1 August 2007.

Престольный праздник нашей церкви имени Св. Пантелеимона Исцелителя, состоится 9 августа.
Наше торжество переносится на воскресенье 12 августа. Богослужение совершит Владыка Иларион. Курско-Коренная Чудотворная Икона посетит наш храм в этот день.
Было бы очень приятно Ваше присутствие на нашем торжестве 12 августа, но зная, что у Вас церковное богослужение в своём приходе, я приглашаю Вас принять участие в богослужении в четверг 9 августа.
После службы будет трапеза, приготовленная сестричеством, если сможете присутствовать на нашем празднике, пожалуйста, привезите золотое облачение и сообщите о Вашем намерение до 1 августа.
