25 Apr 19: Palm Sunday at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, Strathfield
On Saturday, 20 April 2019, the eve of the feast for the Entry of our Lord into Jerusalem, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad and His Grace Bishop George of Canberra celebrated the All-Night Vigil at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield.
Concelebrating with the Hierarchs were the clergy of the cathedral, archpriest George Lapardin, priest Michael Storozhev, protodeacon Alexander Kotlaroff and visiting clergy, priest Adrian Augustus rector, Archangel Michael Church (Blacktown, NSW) and protodeacon Martin Naef cleric, Saint Panteleimon Church (Gosford, NSW)
The following day, Metropolitan Hilarion served the Divine Liturgy at Archangel Michael’s Church and Bishop George served at the cathedral.
