On Sunday 14th January 2018, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion celebrated the feast day of the Circumcision of the Lord, the commemoration of Saint Basil, and New Year’s Day on the Julian Calendar at St Nicholas Parish, Wallsend.
Co-serving with His Eminence were, Archpriest James Carles, parish rector and protodeacon Martin Naef. The choir lead by Matushka Maria Carles sang reverently. Following the service, the sisterhood provided a lunch for all the faithful.
