17 ноября 2024 г. в неделю 21-ю по Пятидесятнице, Высокопреосвященнейший Георгий, Архиепископ Сиднейский и Австралийско-Новозеландский, совершил Божественную литургию в Петропавловском кафедральном соборе в Стратфилде. Его Высокопреосвященству сослужили клир собора и
протоиерей Владимир Макеев, настоятель храма святых равноапостольных Кирилла и Мефодия на Дубровке в Москве.
Владыка Георгий произнес проповедь, посвященную евангельскому чтению и также приветствовал о. Владимира, выразив благодарность за совместное служение и передавая благословение верующим Москвы.

On October 14, 2024, His Eminence Archbishop George of Sydney Australia and New Zealand together with His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Holy Protection Church in Cabramatta NSW for its patronal feast day. Co-serving with the hierarchs were Archpriest Boris Ignatievsky, who marked 30 years in the priesthood, along with neighbouring clergy and Archpriest Seraphim Chemodakov and Protodeacon Nathan clerics of the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady “of the Sign” in New York (more…)

On the 15th Sunday after Pentecost, His Eminence Archbishop George of Sydney Australia and New Zealand together with His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield. The Cathedral clergy joined them in co-serving the service.
The sermon delivered by Vladyka Gabriel focused on the Gospel reading of the day, encouraging the faithful to draw spiritual lessons and apply them in their daily lives.
The choir, under the skilled direction of Andrei Laptev, sang beautifully during the Divine Liturgy, enhancing the service’s spiritual atmosphere with their harmonious voices. (more…)

26 сентября 2024 г, в праздник Воздвижения Креста Господня, Владыка Георгий совершил богослужение в Петропавловском кафедральном соборе в Стратфилде. Вечером былo отслуженo Bсенощное бдение c чинoм воздвижения Креста, а на следующий день — Божественная Литургия, посвященная этому великому празднику напоминая верующим о значении Креста в христианской жизни и искупительной жертве Христа.
Богослужебные песнопения исполнил Архиерейский хор под управлением регента Андрея Лаптева. (more…)

Eight years ago, a new Russian Orthodox male choir was founded in Australia. The choir consists of singers from various churches in Sydney and other cities in Australia, includes many young people, mainly children and grandchildren of Russian emigrants who came to Australia 50-70 years ago.

On September 17, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia received Archpriest Michael Protopopov, Chancellor of the Diocese of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Rector of the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Dandenong, Australia, at the Patriarchal residence in Chisty Lane in Moscow.

On Thursday 8 August and Friday 9 August we had services in honour of Great Martyr Panteleimon (+305 AD), the heavenly patron of our parish. All-night Vigil with the blessing of wheat, wine, oil and five loaves was served on Thursday evening. Concelebrating with the parish rector were Priest Simon Nekipelov, rector of All Saints of Russia parish, Croydon, and Deacon Michal Matys of the Wallsend parish. (more…)
