10 сентября 2018 года, на 75-ом году жизни, после тяжелой и продолжительной болезни отошла ко Господу матушка Кира Михайловна, верная спутница митрофорного протоиерея Михаила Протопопова.
Кира Михайловна родилась в Харбине (Китай) в семье русского инженера энергетика Михаила Николаевича Рождественского и гречанки Евгении Георгиевны Евангелидис, фармацевта.
27 ноября 1943 года, в 10 лет она вместе с родными переезжает в город Лаврион под Афинами (Греция) и там завершает свое образование. (more…)

11 сентября (в день памяти Усекновения главы Пророка, Иоанна Предтечи, когда по православной традиции поминаются все воины «положившие свой живот за Веру, Царя и Отечество») в парке при военном мемориальном комплексе Мельбурна “SHRINE OF REMEMBRANCE” у поминальной плиты под раскидистым ясенем служилась заупокойная лития в память о Русской Императорской армии и 1000 русских граждан, служивших в Австралийских частях в годы Первой Мировой войны (1914 – 1918 гг). 5 Sep 18: His Grace Bishop George of Canberra ordained deacon Michael Storozhev to the rank of priest at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield
On Sunday, 2 September 2018, the feast day of Prophet Samuel, His Grace Bishop George of Canberra celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield together with Archpriest George Lapardin, dean of the cathedral, protodeacons Alexander Kotlaroff, Constantine Moshegov, Martin Naef and deacon Michael Storozhev.
Following the Great Entrance, deacon Michael Storozhev was ordained to the rank of Priest. Fr Michael is assigned to the clergy staff of the cathedral. After the service the sisterhood prepared a festive lunch for all who attended.
2 Sep 18: His Grace Bishop George visits Our Lady’s Dormition Church Dandenong
On Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th August 2018 Our Lady’s Dormition Church, Dandenong VIC celebrated its parish feast day. The services were lead by His Grace Bishop George. Co-served with His Grace were the rector Archpriest Michael Protopopov, priest Alexei Jukov and clergy from the neighbouring parishes.

26 Aug 18: On the feast of the Holy Transfiguration of our Lord, Bishop George of Canberra Celebrates the Services at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield NSW
On Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of August 2018, the great feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord, Bishop George of Canberra celebrated the Divine Services at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfied NSW. Co-serverd with His Grace were the cathedral clergy.
Following the Divine Liturgy, Bishop George blessed the fruit brought by the parishioners as per the tradition of the Holy Church. (more…)
26 Aug 18: His Grace Bishop George of Canberra Celebrates 1,030th Anniversary of Baptism of Russia at Saint Vladimir’s parish in Centennial Park
On Saturday, 28 July 2018, the 1,030th Anniversary of Baptism of Russia, Saint Vladimir’s Parish in Centennial Park celebrated its Patronal feast day. The All-Night Vigil and the Divine Liturgy were celebrated by His Grace Bishop George of Canberra together with the parish rector Archpriest Daniel Metlenko and clergy from the Diocese.
The church was filled with parishioners and other faithful who gathered to celebrate the parish feast day. After the service the sisterhood prepared a festive lunch for all who attended.
