Dear Fathers, Brothers, Sisters and Children in the Lord!
With a feeling of great spiritual joy I greet all of you on the world-saving feast of the Birth of Christ, foretold by the prophets, and bringing heavenly joy to all people, for there has been accomplished the “great mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh” (1 Timothy 3:16). I congratulate all of you with this great joy! May the Divine Infant Christ grant all of us this joy. The struggle of faith and its fruits in our days must be that joy which comes from hearing the heavenly doxology and the feast of the Incarnation of God. (more…)

Делегация Русской Православной Церкви посетила Индонезию с 6 по 13 декабря 2007 года.
6 декабря из Москвы в Джакарту прибыли заместитель председателя Отдела внешних церковных связей Московского Патриархата епископ Егорьевский Марк, благочинный Белгородской духовной семинарии с миссионерской направленностью иеромонах Софроний и сотрудник ОВЦС МП Д.И. Петровский. Из Австралии в Джакарту прилетел архиепископ Сиднейский и Австралийско-Новозеландский Иларион и чтец Александр Парамонов. (more…)

From the 6th to 11th December 2007 His Grace Archbishop Hilarion of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand and His Grace Bishop Mark of Egorevsk headed a joint delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and the Moscow Patriarchate) to Indonesia to visit our missions there. 5 Dec 07: 24 November 2007 – the 15th Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese of the ROCOR has concluded
With God’s help the 15th Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese of the ROCOR has concluded successfully.
The Conference began on the morning of the 23rd of November with a moleben service in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Sydney, and continued over a two day period in a noticeably peaceful manner, without any excessive argumentative discussions. (more…)
5 Dec 07: 24-го Ноября 2007 г. завершился 15-ый Съезд Австралийско-Новозеландской Епархии РПЦЗ
С Божией помощью, благополучно завершился 15-ый Съезд Австралийско-Новозеландской Епархии РПЦЗ.
Съезд начался утром 23 ноября с молебным пением в Св. Петропавловском кафедральном соборе в Сиднеи и продолжался в течении двух дней в особенно мирном порядке, без излишних обостренных дискуссий. (more…)

Вечером 29 ноября в Мюнхене, в кафедральном соборе Германской епархии Русской Православной Церкви Заграницей (РПЦЗ) — храме Новомучеников и Исповедников Российских, Святейший Патриарх Московский и всея Руси Алексий II совершил молебен с акафистом у чудотворной Курской-Коренной иконы Божией Матери «Знамение». Образ был доставлен в Мюнхен из Дублина за несколько часов до молебна. (more…)

to the Diocesan Conference 24 November 2007
Greetings to all assembled here today.
First of all, we give thanks to God for all His blessings to our diocese during last 3 years. Freedom of worship, which is lacking in many countries even today. In Russia until recent years Orthodox Christians endured unprecedented persecution for the Faith.
During last 3 years there were many joyous events, but also quite a lot of uneasiness and turmoil in connection with the dialogue of our Church with the Moscow Patriarchate. (more…)
