Please be advised that Hieromonk Panteleimon (Lake) reposed in the Lord yesterday morning at 8.00am (local time, West Timor, Indonesia). Hieromonk Panteleimon was a cleric of the Indonesian Deanery (Indonesian Orthodox Church) of the Australia and New Zealand Diocese.
He will be buried Monday, June 20 in his home village in Nilulat-Kefamenanu – 230 km East of Kupangand. We ask you to pray for the soul of the newly departed Hieromonk Panteleimon.
29-30 марта 2011г. при Епархиальном управлении состоялись семинары для казначеев и старост приходов. На последнем епархиальном съезде выявились очень серьезные проблемы, связанные с управлением приходских административных и финансовых дел. Исследуя эти проблемы, в Епархиальном управлении пришли к выводу о необходимости обучения управляющих лиц приходов.
Современная жизнь диктует новые подходы. Правительство также стало более требовательным к общественным организациям и объединениям. Чтобы правильно следить за порядком в приходе нужна хорошая организация и подготовленные люди.
Цель семинаров поднять все прицерковные учреждения на более профессиональный уровень. В дальнейшем планируется обучение для сестричества и прицерковных школ.Continue Reading
On the 29 and 30 March 2011 a seminar was held at the Diocesan Offices for parish wardens (starostas) and treasurers. At the Diocesan Assembly last December, a number of serious problems were identified in the administration and finances of parishes and needing redress. The Diocesan Council, having studied the situation decided to introduce a series of seminar to address the problems and prepare parish officials for their duties.
Contemporary life dictates new approaches to parish life and governments have also set regulations which affect the lives of public organisations. Consequently, parishes have to be well ordered and their officials need to be properly prepared for their responsibilities.
The aim of these seminars is to raise the standard of professionalism of parish committees and it is planned that during the year further seminars will address the needs of parish Sisterhoods and schools.Continue Reading
